R&G Transport Ltd. has been a leader in the Saskatchewan transportation industry since its inception in 1962. Founded by Marge and the late Ron Schulz and Gordon Abramson, the company originally hauled petroleum products for Shell Oil and Federated Co-op. In 1966 R&G began hauling fuel for Imperial Oil; at approximately the same time the Schulz’s purchased Mr. Abramson’s shares. For the next thirty years, along with specializing in fuel, R&G hauled a variety of other products, including liquid fertilizer and rail car wheels for GE Rail Car Services. Seaboard acquired R&G Transport in 2013, the Schulz family remains actively involved in the R&G operations today.
In response to the high standards of R&G’s customers over the years, R&G has excelled into a quality customer service based carrier, receiving Imperial Oil’s “Quality Carrier of the Year” award twice. R&G continues to service its customers and research growth opportunities in a competitive marketplace.
